M10 - T Type Nyloc Nuts - Zinc Plated Steel Nyloc Nuts, also known as Nylon Insert Self-locking Nuts, are intended for use in situations where movement or vibration could cause a standard nut to come undone. The friction created by the nylon insert against the bolt threads prevents the nut from loosening and creates a tight seal. There are two varieties of Nyloc Nuts: P Type and T Type. T Type Nyloc Nuts are thinner than P Type Nyloc Nuts. These T Type Nyloc Nuts are made from Bright Zinc Plated Steel which provides a level of corrosion and oxidation resistance as well as a bright finish.
